The Loveliness of the 100 Days Project
Have I mentioned that I love this project? I know these uploads are a bit late, but I have been dutifully making my drawings each day. What I also wanted to post was a pic of some beautiful gifts I received in the post from Tammy over at The Heartful Blogger, which is now one of my favourite blogs, since finding it through the 100 Days Project. I love post and I love gifts. Tammy's drawings really are heartful, and skillful, and colourful, and interestful (OK, I made that last word up) and I love catching up with them each day and taking interest in how she chooses a particular angle, a particular scale, a particular subject for her wonderful drawings. She also writes beautifully. We illustrators have to stick together, and I'm so pleased to know Tammy now, thanks to this fantastic venture.
If you haven't already, you must check out the other bloggers listed in the 100 Days section of my blog (including that of my good friend Emily over at The Tangled Yarn), as well as the official blog list from the project website. There are cartoonists (I am a full-time Edward Ross groupie now), artists, poets, writers, bloggers, designers, makers...It's brought together so many kind and creative and giving people, and I think it's just a little bit brilliant.
There's only 31 days to go now. I wonder what we'll all do when it's over?
